Typically a memory card that has been corrupted has a damaged file system covering good images, and a formatted memory card will hold those photos until new ones have been written to the card. Take it out of your camera, set it aside for now, call us or use our online quote form and we'll tell you how much it's going to cost, then send it to us.
What actually goes in the box?
First, get a price quote (by phone or using our quote form). External drives are sent as complete units in their own case with all necessary cables and power supplies; from a Network Attached Storage (NAS) unit you should remove the individual hard drives (if possible), each labelled according to the bay it was housed in, or just send the entire NAS. Server and RAID systems do not travel as one complete piece. First disassemble these into separate pieces and include each of the individual hard drives, unencumbered with anything else but each identified by the bay number printed on the label. Send the drive, not the computer surrounding it. No phones and no tablets.
