Lancing is a village and civil parish of approximately 19,000 people according to the 2021 census, and one of only three parishes within Adur, the others being Coombes and Sompting. Its business park stands on the site of the railway carriage and wagon works, built between 1908 and 1912, which ceased production in 1965. What is manufactured and stored there today is what ends up on our workbench.

BN15 covers Lancing, Coombes and Sompting. Is all of that included?
Everything. The postcode cuts across an administrative boundary (Adur/Worthing) that has a big impact on planning but no impact whatsoever on parcels. Parcels take the same path to the bench regardless of which side of it they are sent from; cost remains the same everywhere.
A machine on the business park has stopped. What do we send?
Get a quote first, either by phone or using the form, and then send the disk or card. Do not send the computer surrounding the disk or card. Record the model and report what was running when it stopped working. Every disk in a RAID set will come bare with the bay position clearly marked.
Can you read a card out of a video-analysis camera?
Usually. Take it out and write nothing further to it; most commonly, a card cannot be read because recording simply continued afterwards. Cards are read by using Rusolut and flash tooling.
What will it cost, and what is paid when?
Diagnosis is free and we agree on the written figure before we start work. Costs for recovery from a card or stick are £250 upwards each. Cost for a drive is £300. Cost for a recorder is £400. Costs for multi-disk work are £500 upwards, with VAT added to all of the above. If your drive needs to be opened, then half the cost will be asked at the start.
