Adur Data Recovery

Data Recovery Adur: Hard drives, external hard disk drives, mass storage devices, network storage devices (NAS), ‘virtual clusters’; all of these and more are susceptible to problems with the components that govern how they work and how you access the data that is stored on them. For more information on how we can help recover your data should your storage device suffer component issues, call us today on 01273 964902.

Our data recovery Adur engineers deal with requests from clients both old and new who use what are known as SANs (Storage Area Networks) and using these together with multiple drives attached has created for them so-called ‘virtual clusters’ that allow there users across a wide network (either IP or Ethernet) to access the company’s data. Problems can occur with these SANs though when a ‘node’ (or hard drive within the cluster) malfunctions or fails altogether.

Indeed our data recovery Adur personnel have helped clients who have been using the HP P4000/4500 series ‘StoreVirtual’ systems as a means of storing and allowing access to their data across networks. The problem here however is that in the event of a failure of such a device Hewlett Packard (having purchased LeftHand Servers in 2008) state that they are unrecoverable.

It is the case however that our RAID recovery service compensates for this problem and we are proud to say that we are able to recover data from such machines even though their manufacturer says it is not possible to do so. Again our RAID recovery Adur and West Sussex is the only such service to offer this facility.

Recovering data from an unrecoverable device

Our data recovery Adur engineers have been able to retrieve the data from ‘unrecoverable’ nodes like those present in the HP P4000/4500 series and in doing so have prevented the loss of data that might have left some of our clients unable to continue trading while the problem was looked at. Using our own bespoke methods of reverse engineering and forensic computing our engineers have been able to rescue the data and restore it to a new media that could then be added back into the ‘cluster’ in order for it to function and update the existing data.

If you are large corporation, government body, health institution or multi-national that uses any of the aforementioned technology then we can help you retrieve your data and get back to work as soon as is possible. Our data recovery Adur team are on hand and you can call them today (9am to 6pm Monday to Friday) on 01273 964902 and a member of the team will discuss the nature of the problem with you, provide you with an initial diagnosis of the problem and a no obligation quote. If you are happy with everything that has been explained to you and would like us to recover your data we ask that you send the affected device to us here at our data recovery Adur and West Sussex centre. You can do this by post, courier or in person if you so choose.

Having received the device into our data recovery Adur centre our team of engineers will undertake making a firm diagnosis of the problem and will report back to you via email with a list of all the data that can be safely and successfully recovered. (If the data exceeds 30GBs we ask that you purchase an external storage device from our stock). If you want us to proceed with the recovery we ask that you make payment to us via BACS or credit/debit card and your data will be recovered to its new medium and returned to you via next day courier. For more information on how we can help recover your data from a failing ‘storage cluster’ call us today on 01273 964902; our engineers are on hand from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday (except Christmas Day and Easter).
